As in the rest of Brazil, also among the indigenous group Guarani Kaiowá the evangelical church have been gaining ground. The mini-documentary traverses villages in Mato Grosso do Sul to expose denunciations of the increasingly frequent violence committed by evangelical groups against traditional shaman. The contrast between evangelical cults and shamanic rituals, between ancestral leaderships and this new political actor who is the shepherds, and the relation of religions to the disputes over the land give the narrative tone of the short film.
